week 36

okayyhh.. dari baby 8 weeks old lepas tu terus skip pegi week 36. haha. sorry la, rutin harian tak memberi slot kekosongan untuk berblogging. or writing. ummi kene bangun pagi pukul 6 untuk bersiap pegi office. perempuan mengandung bergerak lebih perlahan dari kebiasaan, maka kena la extend masa bersiap. tambahan pula ummi duduk sensorang, everything i have to manage on my own you know. (please dont be naughty when you grow up).

lepas mandi and solat, ummi bersiap ala kadar je, tudung pin bawah. bedak pun tak ingin sapu and sapu cocoa butter pada perut yang membulat. turun ke bawah, ummi start enjin kereta. dalam masa enjin dipanaskan, ummi isi botol air besar ummi, minum madu yang dicampur air sedikit. grab sebiji kurma, ambil backpack kerja, and off to work! that's about 6.50 am. Ummi clock in work 7.30. Lambat sikit putung gaji. Tapi banyak kali dah masuk lambat, redha je potong gaji. Dah kite berjalan perlahan kan nak pegi clock in. Hehehe.

On the way pergi kerja, perut dah bunyi. Baby F pun sudah mula kick dengan rakusnye. Ummi pun sampai je office terus pegi breakfast dulu. Dalam pukul 8.00 am baru Ummi start work. Check email, ukur barang, cmm, vmm, pergi store, pergi ncm. Penuh la Ummi punye aktiviti, kekadang dah nak terkencing pukul 11.00 am baru Ummi pergi, lepas tu macam eh, dah nak lunch hour?

Lepas lunch hour, biasa Ummi duduk kat machine CMM. Mase lepas lunch ni kebiasaannye ramai yang datang dengan isu untuk diselesaikan. Boleh la burn off calories selepas makan. In between, ummi akan balik ke meja ummi untuk minum air. Production floor/lab tak boleh bawak makanan, maka ummi akan berulang alik bila kehausan, kekadang duduk sekejap makan cikedis orang offer. Mama bawak jugak kismis buat kunyah2, tapi ramai org tumpang port sekaki.

Bila pukul 5.30 je ummi akan start packing untuk balik. Sejak mengandung ni Ummi tak berani la nak balik malam2, dah takde orang tunggu kat rumah. bahaya untuk orang yang pergerakan dah limited ni. haha. tapi ada jugak bos ummi suruh stay back, itu pun kalau ade issue urgent or customer request. tapi kebiasaannye ummi akan cabut dulu sebelum disuruh stay back atau tak angkat call. haha.

Sampai je rumah kebiasaannye dah pukul 6.45, ummi baring kejap. Pasang lampu2, bukak tv kasi bising sikit rumah. Ummi naik atas mandi n solat maghrib. Lepas solat maghrib ummi dinner la, kekadang makan cereal je dengan susu. tu pun dah kenyang, nanti lewat sikit ummi minum air yogurt. ummi makan ubat2 doctor sebelum tidur. lepas solat isyak, biasa ummi dah tido dah, sebab dah tak larat. kepenatan. driving paling penat sebenarnye, lelagi kalau jam. ummi akan pusing2 badan dalam kereta sebab tak selesa. ada jugak rasa nak keluar kereta tgh jam tu,stretch sikit masuk balik driving. hahaha. biasa pukul 10.00 or 10.30 ummi dah tido. Syok nye tido atok Baby F dah pasangkan aircon. nanti pukul 3 and 5 pagi ummi bangun buang air. Asyik buang air je.

Tapi Ummi dah berenti kerja, ummi takut la baby f keluar awal, nnti takde kawan kat rumah, hehe.
Ok la, nanti sambung lagi. Sakit belakang duduk je ni. bye. Salam.

after a loooong hiatus

sorry for the mia. i guess since working i dont really have the time to sit and write. i chose hanging out over blogging. hmm. guess im too old to babble nonsense anyway. but i have regretted that we ( me and my bf) have shared wonderful memories but weren't able to share and record in this blog. but never mind later i'll put up pictures from my 1 year old phone (yes. i bought a new phone just to reward myself on graduation), to give you flash of memories that were not able to be updated.

hokayhhh. update time. when was my last time here? hmm.

I was working as an intern at Emery Oleochemicals for 3 months as trainee engineer which was an awesome experience and i got to get my hands dirty and working on big machines (its like an achievement for me sorry for the geek-y) and I wanted to continue there but unfortunately they dont hire fresh grads. So my previous manager asked me to work around first and gain experiences. And he gave me a reference letter for me to bring around my interviews and that letter was one of the reasons I landed my first ever engineering career. I'm thankful for that.

So, here I am. Almost completed my 1 year with Celestica with an SQE position. I actually applied for Process Engineer but I was called back for the SQE vacancy. At first I was like what the hell is SQE? What so hard about taking care of supplier's quality? But it was like a smack in the face. Its like the busiest position in Celestica. Haha. No, really. I'm serious. I dropped down to 2 sizes for pants. Jalan-jalan sikit kena tarik seluar naik. haha.

Buuuuuuttttttt, I had a long talk with manager last month, I was thinking of switching my career to something more technical, instead of fire fighting in the production. My wish has been granted. Though I am still in the quality field, I now sit in the Incoming quality as an FAI Engineer. Which to my amazement (is sooo much harder than being an SQE). An FAI Engineer responsibility is to inspect and study the first material, meaning the person will provide his/her approval for the material to be used in production. If anything goes bad, the root cause and questions will always be pointed to the FAI Engineer. Instead of working in 1 project in a team as SQE, I am now managing 8 projects and whats worse is I am the only FAI Engineer around. I'm not giving up yet, but I can already feel the stress and starting to doubt my ability. If I work too fast, I might miss some important points, If I work too slow, production line will have to hold. I'm still finding my momentum to get into that medium speed. InshaAllah everything will run smoothly.I just hope I'm not disappointing anyone. Fuhh. Pray for meeeeee.... :)
