pesta buku datang lagi.

title konon macam pergi tiap tahun je, padahal ade la dah 6 tahun kot tak pegi. nak buat macam mana, mase tu skola tengah mid term exam, matrik tengah exam la, kat uni ni pun tengah exam. memang baik betul jadual dorang buat ni.

hajat nak pegi sangat-sangat. kot-kot ada jual buku-buku best second hand ke, best gak layan cuti panjang ni. booklist yang nak dibeli banyak, tapi fulusnya takde. mane la tau, kat pesta buku dia jual half price ke kan. heee. seronotnye. the two books on top of my list, which i think is impossible for me to own is:

1. hati muda, bulan muda by A. Samad Said.
2. daddy-long-legs by (forgot the author)

hati muda, bulan muda yang bukan satu cerita tu je, yang hard cover punye. yang compilation most of A.Samad Said works. i fell in love with the compilation the first time i laid my eyes on it. sorok dalam celah-celah buku kat rak sampai taknak bagi orang lain pinjam. haha. letak atas-atas. bukan nya ada orang nak bace pun, buku lama kan. sepanjang dua tahun, ika je yang pinjam buku tu, along with daddy-long-legs. if i remembered it well, daddy-long-legs sebuah novel himpunan surat-surat seorang anak kepada ayah angkat dia. but none of her letters received any reply. sedih sangat. i bet the father must be crying too reading through her letters to him. well, for hati muda, bulan muda (or the other way round), was like visualising what was it like for young love to survive in the 60's or 70's, which either was for A.Samad Said's era.

seronot baca buku yang can put your mind on something else, like it can drift you to somewhere else or as you can say it, take you on a journey. as most people agreed, reading is the cheapest travelling method you can get. hee.




p/s: anyone want to throw away his or hers daddy-long-legs or hati muda, bulan muda might want to consider giving it to me, or sell it to me cheaper. cos im not sure if the books are available in stores now, i just figured it might be limited and may only be avaiable in museums and librabries.
